Fraudster admits stealing more than £11,000 from spa hotel in Northamptonshire

A former business development manager at a spa hotel in Northamptonshire has admitted two charges of fraud relating to abuse of her position.

Jayne Harper, age 55, of Main Street, Holcot, appeared at Northampton Crown Court and pleaded guilty to two charges of fraud, which lead to a loss of £11,300 to Fawsley Hall.

The court heard Harper received the deposit for a wedding and then failed to pass it over to her employers.

Harper also admitted another fraud related to a payment for a large quantity of wine.

The offences took place between November 201 and April 2012 when Harper was employed as a business development manager at Fawsley Hall.

Harper will be sentenced next month.
