5. Michael Plunkett
Police labelled the 66-year-old from Northampton a “significant and serious sexual predator” after he was jailed five years plus a further five years on licence after a jury found him guilty of sexually assaulting a young girl by touching in May 2023. 6. Thomas Grizzell
Grizzell was jailed for eight months after he repeatedly ignored a court order banning him from Daventry and Northampton town centres. The 38-year-old, of of The Slade, Daventry, admitted six breaches of a Criminal Behaviour Order made as a result of his involvement in repeated incidents of “aggressive begging and anti-social behaviour” in town centres. 7. Andru-Jay Burgess
Disqualified driver Andru-Jay Burgess was jailed for 10 weeks by magistrates after admitting riding a motorbike in Corby in August last year when he was not allowed to drive. The 24-year-old, of Culross Walk has a string of previous convictions for driving matters and was one of the top targets for Operation Pacify, tackling the town’s huge problem with off-road bikes. 8. Api Ratuniyarawa
Former Northampton Saints rugby star Ratuniyarawa was jailed for sexually assaulting three women in a Cardiff nightclub. The 37-year-old Fiji international, whose address was given as The Orchard, Kislingbury, pleaded guilty to two counts of assault by penetration and one count of sexual assault in November 2023 when he was due to play for the Barbarians against Wales.
Ratuniyarawa was sentenced to two years and 10 months in prison, and will be a registered sex offender for 10 years. Photo: Getty/South Wales Police
