Elderly man grabbed by throat by men who forced their way into his home

An elderly man was confronted by two strangers who forced their way into his home.

At about 8pm on Wednesday January 13, the men knocked on the door of a house in Appletree Road, Chipping Warden, and forced their way inside.

They then grabbed the elderly resident by the throat and pushed him against a wall before telling him to sit down.

But they fled without taking anything from the property.
