Ten iPads, a number of laptop computers and a digital camera were stolen from East Haddon CofE Primary School in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Thieves smashed a window to gain access to the school before making off with the equipment from a classroom. It is understood the raid took place between around midnight and 12.30am.

East Haddon Village Hall was also broken into on Friday night or Saturday morning. Intruders searched the building before leaving empty handed.

Northamptonshire Police are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to call them on 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
