Citroen Saxo damaged in Daventry

POLICE officers are appealing for witnesses after a car was damaged in Daventry.

The victim was driving a white Citroen Saxo from Eastern Way to Vicar Lane and was being followed by a silver Vauxhall Astra.

When the Saxo stopped at a give way junction on Vicar Lane the driver of the Astra left his car and punched the window of the Saxo, shouted abuse at the driver and kicked the car door leaving a large dent.

The incident took place on Wednesday, November 9 at around 5pm.

The offender is described as a white man, aged 30 to 40, 5ft 9in tall and well built with short.

He was hair and wearing a light coloured top.

Witnesses to this incident, or anyone with information, should call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
