Boy in Daventry who may have witnessed man brandishing knife asked to come forward

A boy who may have been threatened by a man wielding a knife is being asked to come forward to help police with their investigation.

The incident happened on July 4 between 8pm and 9pm, when a road traffic collision occurred in Ashby Road, Daventry.

A man then got out of his vehicle, brandished a knife and proceeded to damage another car.

A young boy at the scene is then alleged to have been threatened by the man and officers are now appealing for him to come forward.

He is described as a white boy, aged about 13, with mousey brown hair and carrying a black rucksack on his back.

The boy or anyone who may have information as to who he is should call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
