Attempted burglary at house in Daventry

The locks to the front and back doors of a property in Daventry were left damaged after an attempted burglary.

Sometime between 8.30am and 9.10am on Tuesday April 12 offender/s attempted to enter the property in Harrow Lane on the town’s Lang Farm estate, and in doing so damaged the locks.

Police say the offender/s did not gain entry and nothing was stolen.

Harrow Lane has a footpath running through it into Welton Lane, and anybody who was in the area around the times mentioned above and who saw any suspicious activity is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
