Arrests after suspected drugs find in Daventry

TWO people have been arrested after what are suspected to be cannabis plants were discovered in a Daventry flat.

Police were called to Joseph Priestly Court, in the town centre opposite the police station, on Sunday, June 3, after reports of a man breaking into a property.

Police say they discovered ‘around 10 to 12’ plants inside a flat.

Two people were arrested and have since been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
