A5 in Northamptonshire closed after serious accident involving a bike and a car

Emergency services closed the A5 in Northamptonshire on Friday night after a serious accident involving a car and a motorbike.

The accident happened near Weedon Bec and the road was closed in both directions between the A45 at High Street and Church Stowe.

No details have been given as to the injuries sustained by those involved but it is understood the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance attended.
