AN APPEAL has been issued to find a 14-year-old boy from the Long Buckby area who has been missing for more than two weeks.
Matthew Woodbridge was last seen at 4pm on Sunday July 24 and police are appealing for anyone who knows his whereabouts to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Andy Blaize said: “We are keen to locate Matthew as a matter of urgency as we are concerned for his health and welfare.
“We understand people may be harbouring him because they believe this is in Matthew’s best interests.
“This is not the case. It is important that we establish where he is and how he is and anyone who is protecting or sheltering him will find themselves liable to criminal proceedings.”
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 03000 111 222 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
