A DAY of charity fun will take place in Long Buckby this Saturday (September 17).
Diversity Fitness 4 Life (CIC), a not for profit company based at Buckby Health and Leisure, is hosting the event from 10am till 4pm.
Activities include a bungee run, bouncy castle, face painting and lots of stalls selling things including jewellery and home made cakes. In the evening there will be a disco and ‘man auction’ at Long Buckby Rugby Club.
CIC is aiming to promote inclusion within the fitness industry by way of running classes suitable for both able bodied and disabled people.
The charity aims to turn Buckby Health and Leisure into an all inclusive gym, and all proceeds from the weeeknd’s event will go towards installing a wheelchair lift.
All are welcome to attend.
