Cleaners’ bags stolen from Daventry village restaurant

Cleaners at a restaurant in Ashby St Ledgers had their handbags stolen while they worked.

Sometime between 8.30am and 12.40pm on Wednesday, August 12, somebody entered The Olde Coach House Inn in Main Street and stole the bags from a staff cupboard.

Officers investigating the case have asked anyone who was dining in the restaurant at the time and saw anything suspicious to contact them.

They have also asked the occupants of a dark green Nissan Micra which was seen in the area to contact them.

Witnesses, or anyone who knows anything about this incident, can call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
