Children can attend this year's Crick Boat Show and Waterways Festival on any day completely free.

The offer is to celebrate the 300th annivesary of the birth of James Brindley, the first great canal builder.

It showcases the inland waterways industry with over 250 exhibitors from across the canal world.

Crick Boat Show offers a fantastic day out for all the family with dozens of boats to look round, boat handling sessions, free boat trips, live music, children’s activities, a real ale marquee, and a large variety of food and drink stalls.

Organised by Waterways World in partnership with the Canal & River Trust and Crick Marina, the 2016 Show is expected to attract 25,000 visitors.
