A TALE of sex, adultery and murder comes to the stage in this classic musical.
Roxie Hart, jazz singer, brings an affair she is having to an end with a pistol and the story sees her team up with smooth talking lawyer Billy Flynn to get her released from prison.
For me, this show was far better than the 2002 movie which starred Renee Zellwegger, with Ali Bastian making for a more vulnerable and likeable leading lady.
But watching this show, you are full of admiration for the slick choreography and impressive floor routines which are timed to perfection. The band can be seen throughout the show, adding to a wonderful backdrop to the story.
There is so much razzle and dazzle in this show that you’d have to be a criminal to miss out.
