Chenderit School celebrates another year of strong A-level results
Today 23 per cent of all results were graded A* or A at the Middleton Cheney school, 48 per cent of all results are graded A*, A or B and an overall pass rate of 97 per cent has been achieved.
Headteacher Jane Cartwright said: “I am thrilled for Chenderit’s A-level students who, once again, with the support of dedicated staff and their families, have achieved excellent results.

Hide Ad“Today’s results reflect the diligence and determination of so many in our community, over so many years and I am delighted that the futures that our students dreamed of can now be realised with virtually all of our students moving on to their destinations of choice.”
The following students achieved three or more A* or A grades:
Verity Babbs (history of art - Oxford), Katie Beckett (classics - Royal Holloway), Ellie Cousins (food and nutrition - Sheffield Hallam), Reuben Cox (maths - Warwick), Paula Dewey (chemistry - York), Annie Quy (medicine - Cardiff), Jess Sharman (psychology - Newman), Seren Thomas (Japanese and Spanish - Cardiff).
In addition, the following students secured two A* to A grades with other good grades, Ellen Forbes (scenic arts - Royal Central School of Speech and Drama), Laura Howlett (international events management - Surrey), Sophie Paul (art foundation), Elisabeth Richardson (English and art history - Sussex), Katherine Shaw (psychology - Edinburgh).
Many students exceeded their target grades.
