A CHRISTMAS fayre to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care will take place this weekend in Long Buckby.
The fayre, being held at the Baptist Church, will have various stalls with homemade goods for Christmas shopping .
Festive gifts, homemade jewellery, preserves, stocking fillers, and toys will be on offer.
Hot and cold snacks will be served as well as mince pies.
Entry will be £1 for adults and 50p and concessions with the money going to the charity who provide free nursing care to those with terminal cancer and other illnesses.
The fayre will take place from 9.30am until 2.30am with a raffle drawn at the Peacock pub at 4pm.
Raffle prizes include meal vouchers, driving lessons, ten pin bowling and a bottle of whisky.
