THE Christmas cards designed as part of a competition run in the Daventry Express have gone on sale.
The cards, which cost £3.50 for a pack of 10, can be bought at the Gusher’s offices in High Street, at the Evergreen Art Cafe in Sheaf Street, The Pigeon Hole in Moot Hall, Daventry Post Office, Daventry Leisure Centre, Daventry Town Council offices and La Patisserie.
The winners of the competition were Isabella Carroll, five, from East Haddon Primary School and Femma Grace from Braunston Primary School. Daventry based printers JR Press donated all the print costs of the cards to help contribute towards the competition.
Daventry Express editor Matt Cornish said: “It is great to see the winning Chrismas cards on sale and so many places in the town centre selling them.
“They will make the perfect cards for people at Christmas and all of the money goes towards a fantastic charity.”
All proceeds will be donated to Pete Spencer’s Helping Hands Memorial Fund which helps support local children with serious ill conditions and disabilities.
