A KISLINGBURY woman who has potentially saved the lives of 225 people, was among those honoured at a special ceremony for blood donors.
Rosalyn Smith was rewarded, along with dozens of other donors, at the event in Daventry.
The ceremony was hosted by NHS Blood and Transplant at the town’s Barcelo Hotel.
Mrs Smith, has given blood 75 times after starting at the age of 18.
She said: “Both my parents gave blood, I wanted to be able to follow in their footsteps. I like to be able to help people and it is a good health check for me.”
More than 30 donors from Northamptonshire were recognised for their dedication to rolling up their sleeves to help save lives.
