Businesses help out to get iPads for kids

The Friends of Newnham School has donated seven new iPads to the school thanks to local businesses.

The group had hoped to have one per class, however the fundraising has exceeded expectations.

Breeze Mount UK in Daventry, Serendipity Brides in Weedon and Towcester-based Arnold Thomson solicitors have donated an iPad.

Polymark Franklin, Howdens Joinery, Bodyshop Solutions and Anstee and Proctor opticians in Daventry and Staverton-based M Davies Ltd have supplied the funds for four more.

Headteacher Kim Cresswell said: “We are delighted. The staff are so pleased to get these iPads.

“The children are already benefiting from their use, Thank you to everyone.”
