A TRIP to Downing Street proved to be a ‘real honour’ for a Daventry entrepreneur.
Iain Humphrey, boss of communication firm Shebang, was invited to a reception at number 10 last week for the UK’s fastest growing businesses.
His company is aiming to turnover £100 million this year and has seen growth rise by 139 per cent in the past three years.
Mr Humphrey said: “There were around 110 entrepreneurs from across the UK and Mr Cameron came in and gave a speech about how we needed to come up with ideas to help get more people into employment. It was a great honour.
“It was wonderful to go through the doors and see all the history. The security is very high and when you go in there are lots of chandeliers and reception rooms. I was surprised how big it is.”
