Aiming to leave clients contented

A NEW therapy centre has opened its doors in Daventry town centre.

Contented Soles Therapy Centre is owned by Wanda Girej who is a leading podiatrist in Daventry. She also has podiatry/chiropdy practives in Long Buckby, Bilton and Crick.

Initially Mrs Girej’s practice was run from Daventry’s Abbey House Medical Practice, but a lack of space meant she needed to find new premises.

After searching Daventry for suitable existing spaces they decided to develop one of the units in Prince William Walk, off Sheaf Street.

Mrs Girej said: “The good thing about here is that there are no stairs for patients to climb, which can be a problem for those with severely restricted mobility.

“There’s also free parking around the back, and it’s in the centre of the town too.

“When I moved in and looked at the space I realised alone I couldn’t use it all, so we started to contact other therapists in the area to see if they wanted to use some of the rooms.”

Contented Soles now offers a whole range of different services, including accupuncture, zero-balancing, podiatry, reflexology, hypnotherapy and counselling, and massage therapy.

Mrs Girej said: “The key thing for us though was not to just rent space out to anyone. Everyone we contacted has an excellent reputation, and we also talked to their clients to ensure they had the same high standards as we do.

“Operating on a rota also means we can offer far more services to customers than we could otherwise.”
