BREAKING: Youth charged with murder following death of Daventry teenager
A 17-year-old man has this afternoon (Sunday) been charged with murder following the death of a Daventry man.
The charge follows the death of Stanley Harrison, also aged 17, at Coventry’s Walsgrave Hospital following an incident in Daventry in the early hours of yesterday (Saturday) morning.
Police were called to an address on the town’s Lang Farm estate at about 3am.
DI Louise Hemingway, from the Major Investigation Team of the East Midlands Special Operations Unit, said earlier today that a 17-year-old male was in custody with Northamptonshire Police.
Police have now confirmed he has been charged with murder and will appear at Northampton Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Monday).
