Balloons launched at a primary school

A Daventry infant school took part in a countywide event to raise awareness of mental health issues.

The youngsters at St James Infant School took part in a balloon launch on Friday.

It was part of the NHS and Northamptonshire County Council Mental Health Stigma Programme.

The mental health awareness day provided schools and the wider Northamptonshire community with the opportunity to raise awareness of mental health stigma in a variety of different ways designed to be fun for the youngsters.
