Allotments open day by mental health group
A group which helps people's mental health through gardening will hold an open day later this month.
Green Health will hold the open day at the community gardens near Daventry Country Park at the end of Welton Road between noon and 4pm on Tuesday June 28.
A spokesman for the group said: “To celebrate the arrival of summer we would like you to join us for an afternoon tea (homemade cakes and salads, soft drinks, tea and coffee), along with musical entertainment. A wide selection of potted plants will be available for you to take home in return for a small donation towards our project and in support of our Rethink Mental Illness.”
