THE TEAM behind Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance is going nationwide.

The air ambulance has taken over the Children’s Air Ambulance and will provide a national helicopter transfer service for seriously ill children.

The Children’s Air Ambulance charity was formed in 2005 to finance the operation of a specialist transfer service but has been unable to realise this ambition. WNAA will be using its expertise to make an operational specialist national Children’s Air Ambulance a reality in 2012.
