A Daventry man who has run eight London Marathons is heading to South Africa for his next challenge.
Glen Frank, 44, is a personal trainer and instructor who has run the marathons dressed at Batman, raising funds for the charity SENSE.
He is travelling to South Africa to run the Comrades Marathon on Sunday.
The Comrades Marathon is the world’s oldest and largest ultra-marathon run over a distance of approximately 90km/56.1 miles.
The course stretches between the capital of the Kwazulu-Natal Province of South Africa, Pietermaritzburg, and the coastal city of Durban.
He has taken it upon himself to raise the same amount of money for the London Marathon, which means he needs to raise £3,000 for SENSE.
