A total of 85 drivers have been caught speeding in Northamptonshire today, with one motorists clocked at 98mph in a 70mph limit.
The Northamptonshire Police Safer Roads Team were out in Brixworth, Towcester and Creaton this morning with a speed gun.
On the A43 near Towcester, 44 people were caught speeding with the highest speed recorded 98mph.
In Station Road in Brixworth 16 drivers were caught speeding in the 30mph zone, with one driver travelling at 48mph.
In Creaton, 25 drivers were caught speeding in a 30 mph limit. The highest speed recorded was 49mph.
