100th birthday celebrations for Daventry woman
It was party time for one Daventry resident as she celebrated her 100th birthday surrounded by family and friends.
Vera Reynolds reached the milestone date on Thursday last week.
Vera currently lives in Daventry and still pops into town on her mobility scooter.
Although she lives in Daventry now, that was not always the case – Vera originally moved to Woodford Halse with her husband Norman where they ran the local bakery and tea rooms for many years.
