Model and actress Linda Lusardi will be among the stars appearing at pantomimes in Northampton.
She plays Carabosse the wicked fairy in Sleeping Beauty alongside her husband Sam Kane, who is directing the show. It will be a return to familiar territory for Linda.
“We put on this show last year at Darlington and it went down really well,” she said.
“This will be similar, but there will be lots of 3D special effects. This is something I have never worked with before and won’t get to until we get to the technical rehearsals. It’s something I am looking forward to.
“I used to play the Cinderella type parts but there is a lot more fun to be had playing the villain. You get that interaction with the audience and you also just get to let rip because they are characters completely different to yourself.
“There will be a lot of laughs, amazing costumes and visual effects, it will be a great night out for everyone.”
Sleeping Beauty runs from December 6 to January 5.
Kenneth Grahame’s classic children’s story, The Wind and The Willows, also comes to Royal & Derngate.
