I WOULD most definitely recommend this pantomime to people of many ages, from young children to adulthood.
It is very funny and describes the story extremely well of Dick Whittington becoming Lord Mayor of London.
The two main star appearances were Joanna Page (Stacey from Gavin and Stacey) and Dirk Benedict from the A-Team.
However, the hightlight for me was Britain’s Got Talent finalists Stavros Flatley, who did their famous Riverdance.
In the second half of the pantomime, there was a 3D effect for one of the characters, Terry the Turtle, who embarks on an oceanic adventure.
This is the first time I have ever seen this at a panto, and the effects are astounding to watch.
This show is one of the best I have ever been to. It is full of jokes and in true panto spirit, it has a good old happy ending.
