An award winning and critically acclaimed show is coming to Northamptonshire this week.
Light comes to the Royal and Derngate in Northampton tonight (Monday) and the Corby Cube on Tuesday.
It is a wordless show from Theatre Ad Infinitum which portrays an Orwellian future in which a totalitarian government monitors the thoughts of its citizens through implants. Lit entirely by LED strip and torchlight, it follows a young government agents charged with hunting down ‘terrorists’ who seek illegal disconnection.
The show was a sell-out hit at the 2014 Edinburgh Fringe, and will be at the Barbican for London International Mime Festival. It was created and is performed with Matty Gurney, a deaf actor who regularly appears on the BBC’s See Hear and appeared in BSL soap opera Switched.
