Recipe for success at holiday workshop

For all the budding Paul Hollywoods and Jamie Olivers, there is the chance to perfect skills at a series of workshops designed for children and teenagers.

Bay Tree Cottage in Farthingstone is hosting the workshops, featuring a wide range of cooking styles.

For teenagers, 12 plus, they can try a spot of pizza making on Tuesday, artisan bread making on Wednesday and on Thursday, October 31 it will be Indian cookery.

Prices for each of these workshops is £45 and they run between 10am and 2pm.

For children aged between four and 12, they can also enjoy a spot of cookery as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

On Tuesday and Thursday, October 31, children can make spooky treats and midnight feasts.

On Friday, November 1, they can make fresh pasta and pesto and in another, bonfire night party food.

There will be two sessions of each workshop on each date, one from 10am to noon, the other from 2pm to 4pm.

The cost is £18.50 for one adult and one child and £6.50 for an extra child with a maximum of three children per adult. For more, call 01327 361720
