An Ealing comedy adapted for the stage will be coming to Rugby Theatre starting on Saturday.

The Ladykillers has been adapted for the stage by the creator of Father Ted and The IT Crowd Graham Linehan.

The show is a black comedy about a sweet little old lady, alone in her house, is pitted against a gang of criminals.

Posing as amateur musicians, Professor Marcus and his gang rent rooms in the lopsided house of sweet but strict Mrs Wilberforce. The villains plot to involve her, unwittingly, in Marcus’ brilliantly conceived heist job. The police are left stumped but Mrs Wilberforce becomes wise to their ruse and Marcus concludes that there is only one way to keep the old lady quiet.

It will be performed at 7.30pm from this Saturday to Saturday September 27 every day except Sunday.

Tickets cost £12. For more details or to book, call 01788 541234.
