A DAVENTRY artist will be showcasing his work at a museum and art gallery.
Potter Peter Cosentino will be showcasing his exhibition called Surface and Shape.
It will comprise of 50 pieces of thrown and slabbed pottery incorporating a variety of work ranging from heavily pitted, volcanic surfaces on vases and layered platters, to highly decorative crystalline glazed bottles. It will be held at the Floor One gallery at Rugby Art Gallery and Museum and will be on display until Saturday.
He said: “My work has always been well received here in the past and I am delighted to have had the opportunity of a solo exhibition. It is all new work which has not been previously exhibited, in fact some pieces are barely cool from being taken out of my kiln!’
It opens from 10am-5pm Thursday and Friday and 10am-4pm on Saturday.
