Saturday will see the close of an exhibition at Daventry Library by an artist from Woodford Halse.

Kevin Lowe has produced a series of drawings which can be seen at the North Street venue.

He was studying and working in fine art print all of his life before he was placed in incarceration.

The work on display at the library is the result of his last year in open prison and has been produced since his release from jail eight months ago.

He has been pleased with the feedback he has had from people.

Kevin said: “There are a lot of people who have put in the comment book about how they could see I was in a dark place. But for me it is coming out and emerging as a better person.

“I have been really pleased and the work has attracted a lot of interest. It is leading on to some interesting projects.”
