A TRADITIONAL pantomime will be performed in a village next week.
Northampton-based Looking Glass Theatre company will be bringing the classic tale of Beauty and the Beast to Nether Heyford Village Hall on Monday.
There will be plenty of fun for all of the family, but also a sense of deja vu as producer James Smith explains.
He said: “This version was originally made to be performed at the Royal Theatre in Northampton in the late 1990s.
“The Royal costume store, which was closed down in 2005, was bought by the company, so the production will be very similar to that play.
“It is a traditional show with slapstick, original music and plenty of laughs along the way. There will also be some puppets appearing in the show.”
Tickets for the show, which starts at 7pm, cost £5 for adults and £2 for primary school age children who must be accompanied by an adult.

Looking Glass Theatre company will be performing at many venues across the county during December.
