Dance troops, singing, audience participation and over the top performances can only mean one thing, pantomime returns and Peter Pan at Milton Keynes Theatre is a cracker.
Following the traditional story, it sees children flying to Neverland to fight the evil Captain Hook.
It is a long awaited return to the theatre for Bradley Walsh and he doesn’t disappoint with many jokes from beginning to end.
However the show is almost stolen from them by dance troop Flawless who were exceptional throughout and gave us a very different take on pirates.
Underneath it all was the malignant threat from David Bedella’s Captain Hook who gives a performance to get you booing in a good way.
There is plenty of fun to be had in this show with songs from many different eras and there are jokes for both the adults and the children.
Overall, Peter Pan at Milton Keynes is a fantastically enjoyable show and one ready to put you in the festive mood.
