2021 Nissan Qashqai revealed with range of hybrid engines
Nissan has unveiled the all-new Nissan Qashqai in an online live event streamed via the Nissan Europe Youtube channel today (Thursday 18 February).
The best selling model has sold over three million units in Europe since it was first launched in 2007 and has become a mainstay on UK roads as crossovers and small SUVs have become a dominant segment.

The third generation Qashqai has a sharper, more modern design than its predecessors and the car's overall length, height and width have increased to give passengers more space and to enhance presence on the road.
Marco Fioravanti, Vice President, Product Planning, Nissan Automotive Europe said:“The starting point for the design and development of the all-new Qashqai was a deep analysis of the relationships we’ve had with all of our Qashqai customers over the last 13 years. It has enabled us to understand their needs and, in particular, what they value in the crossover that they use and rely on daily.”
Supporting Nissan’s goal of achieving 50 per cent electrified sales in Europe by 2024, the new Qashqai will not only be available with a 1.3 DiG-T petrol equipped with mild hybrid technology, but it also represents the European debut of e-POWER, Nissan’s new hybrid powertrain that sees a 1.5-litre petrol engine charge a fully-electric motor leading to superior fuel efficiency and lower CO2 emissions compared with a traditional internal combustion engine or mild hybrid system.
The new Qashqai will be available in both 2wd and 4wd format and is set to go on sale summer 2021.
