Kate Fisher supplied this nostalgic photo to the Daventry Express.

She said: "The first is an original VE Day Street party in Liverpool and features my nan, Emma, and my mother, Patricia, who is now 79.

"My mum is pictured 75 years later in Crick."

Kate is a well-known name in the town having taught ballroom and Latin to local children and adults for many years - firstly under Kate Fisher Dance Academy and now Dance Champ.

She said: "I still live in Crick and have two grown up sons.

"We all love looking at photos and learning family history, it’s good to pass the stories down the generations."

We'd like to thank Andrea Green, of Daventry in History, for the other pictures. The first is an old newspaper advert from Treadgold and Nurser, who used to be in High Street, Daventry. The second pictures shows an old image of The Dun Cow pub in Daventry town.

They don't have to be really old photographs, let's see what you've got!

Please include all the information about when and where they were taken, who is in the picture and, where appropriate, what they are doing now.

If you have any more information about the photos included in this column, please email [email protected].
