A newly refurbed, state-of-the-art leisure centre opens to members of the public tomorrow (April 12) after delays with the opening due to the Covid-19 lockdown.

Now named Moulton Leisure Centre, £8.5 million was spent on the premises to convert it from the Chris Moody Centre, which was a rehabilitation centre.

Based at a Moulton College campus in Pitsford Road, the leisure centre will be open to the public and facilities include a new health spa, fitness suite, huge gym and exercise studios.

The car park has been extended and the existing swimming pool and rehabilitation hydro pools have been updated.

Everyone Active has signed a five-year contract to run the facility and is pleased to finally be able to open then centre after the opening date scheduled for earlier this year had to be postponded due to another lockdown.

Below are pictures of the new facilities ahead of the official opening tomorrow.
