Nene CCG is organising a series of ‘listening events’ this month to give people the chance to give feedback on the way in which dementia, diabetes and cancer patients are treated.

A spokesperson at Nene CCG said “We need to reshape our services to put patients at the centre of all we do and to better meet the health and social care needs of the future. There are opportunities to improve the quality of services for our patients whilst improving efficiency, lowering costs and providing more care outside of hospital.

“Whilst we have many areas to focus on, dementia, diabetes and cancer are some of the priority areas for the coming years and listening to the views of the communities we serve is key to shaping our plans.

“These are a few of the planned events over the coming months and we encourage people to come and meet us and share their experiences and ideas.”

There are a number of ways people can get involved, for example if you cannot attend an event you can still have your say by joining the Nene membership. South Northants
