A Covid-19 Mobile Testing Unit is making a return to Daventry on Saturday 27 where it will stay for four days.

The testing is in support of the Covid-19 National Testing Programme, which has seen people who think they have symptoms tested in different parts of the county during lockdown.

Testing is by appointment only and appointments can be made online until Tuesday 30, by clicking here. The unit has an integrated one-way system that allows people with an appointment to attend for either walk-in or drive-through testing.

The eligibility criteria for tests have been extended to include anyone with coronavirus symptoms and essential workers will be given a priority.

Those allowed to take a test should be symptomatic and have either a new continuous cough, high temperature or loss of or change in sense of smell or taste.

Booking for mobile testing unit appointments is not usually available until 5pm the day before it opens and location details for the testing site are provided to applicants after they have completed their online booking.
