Sweet treats bring Easter joy to children in Weedon Bec

Smiles and joy were brought to sweet-toothed children in Weedon Bec in time for Easter.

The Friends of Weedon Bec Primary School (FOWSA) played Easter bunny and presented all the children with a chocolate egg.

Vicky Eaton, head of school, handed them out to excited pupils before they broke up for their Easter break.

She said: "This term has been so tricky for our children and their families and this was a lovely surprise for all of the children on the last day of what feels like the longest term!

"Everyone at Weedon Bec is looking forward to spending some time with their families and catching up with friends over the Easter holidays, but we can't wait to see all of the children again ready for our favourite term of the year."

Mrs Eaton added: "Hopefully this year we will be able to do sports day and all of the end of year madness that our children missed out on last year."
