Bus operator Stagecoach will be tweaking timetables across Northamptonshire from Monday ready for the big return to school.

As at the beginning of the academic year last September, some routes will have dedicated journeys for students ONLY — with the letter C after the route number.

These special trips were shelved when the majority of youngsters switched to online learning in January.

"This is the first step to increasing services and further enhancements are planned in April for when non-essential retail reopens.”

People are also encouraged to use contactless payment methods wherever possible, or buy their tickets online through the Stagecoach app.
