Robert Vaughan has embarked on his own community clean-up campaign by tackling filthy road signs - for free.

He has just launched his business - Window Pal - after moving to the area from the south.

Robert said: "It's very satisfying to do and I know I'm helping fellow road users as well as getting my new business out there.

"I'd happily spend the day cleaning road signs if I could."

Robert said his voluntary work helps keep the roads that little bit safer.

"It's nice to be able to do something that helps keep where I live a bit tidier," added Robert.

"And of course there is the added bonus of getting recognised."

He set up Window Pal in January and said customer feedback has been positive.

Robert said: "I love my job and the wonderful customers I've been meeting."
