Karen Teago, who established In-essence in 2012 and moved into Daventry’s iCon Innovation Centre in February 2013, met her new co-directors Dawn Exley and Mark Exley from Gravitas HR Solutions through networking.

Having decided to merge their businesses in 2013, Karen, Dawn and Mark celebrated the newly merged and expanded Gravitas HR Solutions Ltd with a launch event for key businesses and leaders from across the East Midlands.

To add to the mix the Gravitas HR Solutions team was joined by Northamptonshire’s own cake artisan and Great British Bake Off contestant, Ben Frazer, who baked cupcakes for the occasion.

Gravitas HR Solutions Ltd will be retaining its office in the iCon Centre in Daventry, and has also opened a new office in Northampton.

Karen Teago, who formerly spent 10 years practising employment law in private legal practice, said: “By combining complementary skills we can be flexible and adaptable to suit the HR requirements of different businesses, large and small. Having worked in Daventry for some time and grown my business in the town, I am particularly pleased to be able to continue to work here and benefit from a close proximity to my loyal clients.”

Dawn Exley added: “We are an even stronger business having joined forces and are delighted to be investing in Northamptonshire, and growing our business from the heart of the UK.”
