Based on a true story, Margot is a love story between ballerina Margot Fonteyn and Russian ballet star Rudolf Nureyev after his defection from the Kirov Ballet in 1961, leading up to the early 1990s.

The excitement of romance and a new lease of dancing life come under threat when Margot’s husband is shot in Panama.

Meanwhile, Clear Heels by Amiee Albiston tells of an encounter between lapdancer Lexy and her prospective customer Justin, allowing the audience to hear the story from both of the characters’ perspectives, as well as their true thoughts.

The plays are running today, tomorrow and Saturday at the Playhouse Theatre in Clare Street, starting at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £8 or £7 for concessions. Ring 07586 288793 or email [email protected]
