Now in its fourth year, the event will build on the success of previous years with headline acts including Henning Wehn, Mark Watson, Katharine Ryan, Gary Delaney and Jimeoin.

The festival also includes a wide range of comedy and fun, such as Edinburgh Fringe sensations The Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Company; ‘reduced’ comedy theatre fun with Dickens Abridged; a full evening of the finest female stand-up with Here Come The Girls!; Tony Jameson’s award-winning Football Manager show; and Friday Fun once again with The Royal Pug Comedy Club, featuring the very best of the rising stars of the UK comedy circuit.

Free events also return again this year with a Family Fun Day, comedy pub quizzes at The Fat Pug and White Horse, and pop-up comedy happenings at Nando’s.

Kids are well catered for once again with the return of the ever-popular Comedy Club 4 Kids; and more live animation stand-up from CBBC hit Little Howard & Big Howard with their Little Howard’s Big Show For Kids!

The festival will finish off in fine style with the bumper Hobgoblin Festival Finale at the Spa Centre on Saturday, October 17. It will be headlined by Mock the Week, Live at the Apollo and Radio 4 star, Mark Watson, and featuring TV favourites Gary Delaney, Matt Richardson and Felicity Ward and compered by loveable host, Stuart Goldsmith.

Festival co-director Mark Makin said: “The festival has always been a pretty broad church in terms of what we think constitutes comedy and it’s really that breadth that has allowed us to grow the festival line-up over the last couple of years”.

Tickets and information for all events are now on sale at www.leamingtoncomedy.com, from the Royal Spa Centre box office or by calling 01926 334418.
