It’s your round as beer festival and music to be held at village

The Midsummer Beer Festival is to return to Wappenham on Saturday.

The event at Wappenham Village Hall follows on from the debut festival last year and runs from noon till late.

There will be 12 real ales to try and six ciders on offer, plus wine and soft drinks, a barbecue and live music.

The bands include: Yellow Dog Blues Band, Shattered Timbers, Rhiannon, Halcyon Days and Off The Hook. Towcester Rock Schoolwill be providing four bands playing short sets.

Advance tickets are available for £6, which for 2 pints and a burger is a bargain.

Organisers of the event has also made provisional arrangements in case of wet weather.

The festival is supported by DJ Marquees and Towcester Mill Brewery, and proceeds are to maintain the church and hall as well as the Cynthia Spencer and Katharine House hospices.
