Colourfulmusical classic at Benn Hall

There will be a crash of drums and a flash of light when a youth theatre company stages the musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

The spectacular all-time family favourite explodes onto the stage at The Benn Hall on Thursday July 23 and Friday July 24.

ASH Stage Productions, who are staging the show, launched back in May 2013 and follows on from their last years hugely popular and successful rendition of The Wizard of Oz at The Bridge House Theatre.

The production has been solely produced and directed by the masterminds behind ASH Stage Productions Adam and Samantha Holst.

They said: “We are extremely excited and proud to have produced and directed this amazing Andrew Lloyd Webber masterpiece, staging a musical of this scale that has already gained such an amazing reputation over the years with 70 youngsters has been somewhat of a challenge but also a thoroughly enjoyable one that we have loved every minute of!

“All of our students involved with this production have approached it with such an amazing maturity and professionalism and we could not be prouder of them.

“They are all so passionate about what we do and they absolutely love it”
